Felgenhour was hired by Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California to compose, along with friend and fellow composer, Stephen Johnson, an orchestral and choral underscore for the exhibit of The Crucifixion, the largest canvas painting in the world. Felgenhour’s piece was recorded in the Alfred Newman Sound Stage at 20th Century Fox Studios and premiered live at the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection on Good Friday of 2006 for the exhibit’s 50th anniversary. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The presentation shows seven times every day on the hour starting at 10:00 AM.
