Originals Debuted at Christmas time

December 2006 – Two pieces debuted at Providence Church. In the Beginning was written by songwriter Janet C. Maltbie and orchestrated by Felgenhour. It was performed on December 3rd by the Providence Church orchestra and was accompanied by a video presentation created by Scott Rudge with live narration by Andy Meeker.  On December 10th an original children’s musical, Little Christmas Star, debuted featuring an ensemble of children as well as orchestra and choir. Based on a children’s book by Karen Sweet, the music and lyrics were written by Charlene Perkins along with contributions from Felgenhour, who also orchestrated the seven featured songs.
