Steiner Chorale performs Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms

December 6, 2014 – The Steiner Chorale performed their first concert of the 2014-15 season at Faith Lutheran Church in Okemos, Michigan. The chorale was conducted by Corb H. Felgenhour and they performed many noted works including: Gaudete! by Michael Engelhardt, A Spotless Rose by Herbert Howells, The Incarnate God by Felgenhour, Jubilate Deo by Benjamin Britten, O Magnum Mysterium by Victoria, God is With Us by John Tavener, The Bleak Midwinter by Ola Gjeijo, Wilhousky’s holiday favorite, Carol of the Bells, A Choral Suite from the hit Disney movie, Frozen, and the well-known and beloved Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein.

steiner_chorale_logo_bannerPianist was Takis Pizanis. Guest organist was Bruce Williams. Harpist was Dedreanna Q. Potter. Percussion was performed by Josh Trentadue, Bruce Williams, and Takis Pizanis. Special guest boy soloist for the Chichester Psalms was Francisco Fiori.  Other soloists were Leo Sell, Nancy Pike, Jennifer Worth, Steve Parker, Troy Seyfert, Rachael Drenovsky, and Beth McWhorter.
