Steiner Chorale performs Handel’s Messiah
March 11 & 13, 2016 – The Steiner Chorale teamed up with South Church and other members from the Lansing community to perform Handel’s Messiah. The performances focused mostly on the music from parts II & III and were accompanied by a full orchestra. Both performances were conducted by Corb H. Felgenhour. Soloists were Leo Sell, Dottie Hoopengarner, Jennifer Worth, Katheryn Mulcahy, David Anderson, Mary Jo Corbitt, Nancy Pike, and Gedeane Graham. The rehearsal accompanist was Takis Pizanis. The first performance was at Central United Methodist Church in downtown Lansing, MI across from the capital building. The encore performance was hosted at South Church in Lansing.
