Vocal Ensemble “Adontes” Formed

July 2012 – A new vocal ensemble forms called “Adontes”.  “Adontes” sings a wide range of literature from sacred art to vocal jazz.  The group hails from South Church in Lansing, MI.  The group is conducted by Corb H. Felgenhour.  Members are Dan Rainsberger, Lisa Conine, Carol Felgenhour, Troy Seifert, Heidi Cheney, Aimee Gregg, and Corb H. Felgenhour.  The word “Adontes” is a greek word meaning “continually singing” taken from the New Testamant in Colossians 3:16. “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”
